General objective

To prepare high-level professionals in financial and operational accounting processes with techniques and tools to investigate internal control business events in order to evaluate and propose productive projects for the improvement of independent audit reliable operations.

Specific objectives.

• Establish the accounting criteria applied in financial audit processes.
• Evaluate financial accounting theories for the use of internal control tools.
• Investigate models of productive projects in independent audits.
• Design impact matrices to verify audit scopes.
• Lead internal control practice projects to support the administrative accounting operations of companies.
• Participate in working groups committed to the legitimacy of auditable processes, involving senior management.
• Manage academic and research links in national and international events at UTEQ in financial accounting areas, strengthening the requirements of international financial reporting standards.
