Mission

The postgraduate unit will contribute to the strengthening of a postgraduate culture that meets the advanced education training needs of the institutional, local, regional and national professional population, through the development of Master's Degrees, designed in face-to-face, blended and distance learning modalities.

Objective

To train human resources at intermediate postgraduate levels, at master's degrees, in the areas of knowledge necessary to contribute to the social, technological and scientific development of the region and the country.

The preparation of human resources of the highest scientific, academic and professional qualification, basically through research.

Generate strategic guidelines and recommendations for the promotion, formulation, selection and execution of plans, programmes and research projects that contribute to the development, experience and training of the human resources necessary to meet social demands, in coordination with the academic and research units.

To provide specialised consultancy and advisory services within and outside the university.

Formulate and develop continuing education programmes in all areas of knowledge, in coordination with the academic units and surrounding institutions.
