Analysis of methods, strategies and procedures for the construction of knowledge.

• Application of pedagogical knowledge to achieve the quality of education required for the integral education of the student, through the development of cognitive skills such as critical analysis, creativity, flexibility, cognitive independence and rational logical thinking, critical reading and reflection.
• The development of strategies, methods, methodologies and programmes that facilitate the appropriate management and application of processes for the development of multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary knowledge in the different contexts of students education.
• The use of advanced educational technologies to construct and relate theory and practice in the classroom.
• Apply socio-educational projects in the community to develop community social pedagogy.
• Apply management skills to coordinate pedagogical processes at the level of the group, class and individual student.
• Analyse epistemological, conceptual, methodological and procedural aspects for the characterization and development of pedagogy in the Ecuadorian context.
• Dealing with scientific research methods related to critical, social and systemic pedagogy for integral human development and pedagogy in particular.
• Elaborate didactic and pedagogical materials based on scientific arguments, using Microsoft Word and Excel tools, in order to systematize information that guarantees the assurance, management and control of the processes and modalities of pedagogy and didactics in their different variants.
• Apply innovative techniques in the design and implementation of educational projects for the integral formation of the student, combined with techniques and procedures for group management.
• Skills and competences for pedagogical intervention.

Objetivo general

To train teachers to favour the development of their pedagogical competences in order to facilitate the active integration of the student through an educational intervention that promotes the quality of the teaching-learning process and the integral development of the student, from the attention to diversity, the improvement of academic performance, the development of social skills and participative attitudes based on the values of coexistence, non-violence and education for peace, so that their problems and concerns can be channelled and their emotions managed by means of a pedagogical work that, supported by Neuropedagogy, helps to improve the quality of the teaching-learning process and the integral development of the student, non-violence and education for peace, in such a way that their problems and concerns can be channelled and their emotions managed through pedagogical work which, supported by Neuropedagogy, develops educational and didactic strategies for the scientific approach to learning and behavioural problems in the classroom.

Specific objectives.

• To promote the development of research skills in order to deepen the knowledge of the essentials of pedagogy for the integral development of the student and the development of pedagogical proposals for the prevention and educational care of school violence, education for peace.
• Favour the development of educational projects aimed at the attention of students with low academic performance and the prevention of this aspect, as well as for the development of educational experiences, which contribute to promote and strengthen emotional intelligence and skills for conflict mediation, in terms of prevention and human development from the approach of group work and collaborative learning.
• Assume the pedagogical culture as a strategic process in educational systems that enhances personal aspects, promotes and updates the potential of the participating subjects, committing their resources to learning, through the design and implementation of educational experiences, which contribute to promoting and strengthening attention to diversity and educational inclusion, assuming values such as solidarity, dialogue, respect, equity, honesty and social justice.
• Assume pedagogy in general and pedagogical culture in particular as a strategic process in educational systems that enhances personal aspects, promotes and updates the potential of the participating subjects, committing their resources to learning, through the design and implementation of educational experiences that contribute to promoting and strengthening attention to diversity and educational inclusion in regular contexts, assuming values.
