Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences

The Master"s Programme in Agricultural Sciences is aimed at professionals holding a third-level undergraduate degree in related fields of knowledge, in accordance with the current Regulation for the Harmonisation of the Nomenclature of Professional Titles and Academic Degrees (RANT) adopted by the Higher Education Council (CES).

Priority for admission will be given to applicants whose field of knowledge corresponds to the broad field 08 – Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, and Veterinary Science, as defined by the current RANT, which is considered the core discipline of this programme.

Additionally, professionals from other fields of knowledge deemed related by the RANT may apply, provided they can demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of professional, technical, or research experience in the agricultural sector. This experience must be duly certified through official documents such as employment contracts, institutional certifications, technical reports, or scientific publications, in compliance with Resolution RPC-SO-25-No.491-2017.

To validate related fields and determine applicant eligibility, the current RANT will be strictly applied in alignment with the programme’s objectives and training profile.
