Admission Profile
The Master is Program in Economic Sciences is aimed at professionals who hold a third-level degree in the broad field of Social Sciences, Journalism, and Information, in accordance with the provisions of the current Regulations for the Harmonization of Professional Titles and Academic Degrees (RANT).
Similarly, professionals from other fields of knowledge may apply, provided they demonstrate a minimum of one (1) year of professional, technical, or research experience in activities related to economics, finance, business, or productive development. Such experience must be duly certified by official documents, such as employment contracts, certifications issued by public or private institutions, technical reports, or relevant academic publications, in accordance with Resolution RPC-SO-25-No.491-2017 issued by the Higher Education Council (CES).
General Objective
To train professionals with a critical, analytical and interdisciplinary view of economic phenomena, capable of interpreting, formulating and evaluating public policies and sustainable development strategies, using advanced theoretical and methodological tools, in order to respond to the contemporary economic challenges facing Ecuador and the global environment, within a framework of principles of equity, efficiency, sustainability and innovation.

Admission Requirements:
- Colour copy of university degree, awarded by the higher education institution
- SCYT registration.
- Copy of certified degree certificate with respective grades obtained during the degree.
- Third-level academic record.
- Copy of identity card and updated colour voting card.
- Application for admission to the master is programme
- Note: If the degree was obtained abroad, all the above documents must be apostilled or legalised by the consulate, in accordance with current national regulations.
