On 24 April at the rectorate of the University of Quevedo. The signing of the agreement was held in the presence of authorities and representatives of both institutions.

This agreement aims to establish the framework of cooperation between the parties, for the implementation of joint activities in any area that will result in the development and strengthening of their relationship of inter-institutional cooperation.

In this agreement, the institutions undertake to comply with the stated objective, without prejudice to the implementation of other activities and commitments arising from the nature of the same.

Among the commitments of the UTEQ within this agreement is: Socialise through the means at its disposal, the academic offer of third and fourth level that "La UNIR" has, to the staff of UTEQ.

The UNIR commits itself to send quarterly to the UTEQ the information about the academic offer of third and fourth level that the UNIR has, among other collaborations of common interest.

The rector of the UTEQ, Dr. Eduardo Díaz, thanked the visit of the delegates of the Spanish institution, and indicated that he will work hand in hand with the UNIR for the benefit of both universities.
