Dr. Eduardo Díaz, rector of UTEQ, participated in the IV International Congress on Local Development, territorial planning, sustainable development and geodiversity.

With the theme "Entrepreneurship in universities from the perspective of local development", he participated in the IV International Congress on Local Development, territorial planning, sustainable development and geodiversity. The event took place at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Lima, Peru) from 9 to 12 November.

Professor León Arguello also intervened in this event with the topic ""The factors that influence the weakening of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MIPYMES) in Quevedo-Ecuador: an expert approach"".

The Congress, with its contributions and opportunities for university, local policy and business networking, was an exchange of experiences and an interesting asset for the future of society.

This congress opened a space for discussion and analysis of the models, strategies, experiences and aims of local development, while promoting debate on the possibilities of piloting and empowering community development from the local level in a global world.
