Innovation and creativity was what UTEQ students and invited entrepreneurs demonstrated in the development of the Ecoinnovation and Entrepreneurship Open House 2017.

It was held on the premises of the University of Quevedo on 10 August.

More than 20 projects were presented at the fair, including food products such as chocolate, jam, jelly, yoghurt and strawberry syrup, as well as tourism projects for our city; mechanical and electronic projects such as: Robotic Arm; innovation projects, such as the creation of sandals with options to change straps of different colours; environmental care projects such as recycling plastic bottles to reuse water through ecological filters, among others that generated good comments. This Open House was also attended by the finalists for the 2017 Senescyt Awards and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, who exhibited their projects and products. All this as part of the First Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship that took place from 8 to 10 August at UTEQ.
