Juan Miranda, music teacher at UTEQ and renowned artist in our country, received a certificate from the Directorate of Culture and Heritage of Los Ríos.


In recognition of his many artistic activities that he has carried out throughout his life as a trainer of talented young people in the world of music.

Fausto González Castro, Cultural Activist of Los Ríos, indicated that in the last 30 years "Juanito", as the maestro Juan Miranda is known, has given to the society of Los Ríos his gifts and cultural values, as a trainer and member of trios, ensembles or soloist, which is why he considers this artist to be a living pride in our province and country. Miranda, who has worked for 18 years in the area of culture of the UTEQ, said he was very happy and grateful for the recognition granted, and that he will continue to teach and support the talent of Quevedo for a greater acceptance of the artists of the city in our Ecuador.
