The State Technical University of Quevedo, in the perspective of preparing professionals specialised in sustainable local development processes.

Betty Gonzalez, a teacher at UTEQ and one of the promoters of the approval of this programme, indicated that this master's degree has two mentions, one is in Planning, Development and Territorial Ordering; and the other Mention in Social and Solidarity Economy, so that professionals who opt for this programme have two alternatives to achieve their academic degree.

Professionals in the areas of Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communication, Law, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Sociology, Anthropology, Tourism, Education, Information Systems, and Agricultural Economics can participate in this Master's programme. Registration will be from 10 to 22 June this year, after this, applicants must meet a number of requirements established by law, and the start of academic activities are scheduled for 19 July this year.
