Event that took place in Santiago de Chile.

The conferences were held from 24 to 28 September 2018 at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Speakers from several countries including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay participated in these events.

The topics discussed at these conferences were Urban Resilience and Governance, Urban Resilience and Governance at Local and Education Level; and Urban Resilience and Capacity for Growth.

In addition, it is worth noting that at the closing of this event the European Commission University Pablo de Olavide presented a recognition to Dr. Eduardo Diaz Ocampo, rector of the Technical State University of Quevedo, for the excellent work and support demonstrated in the implementation of the project NUMBER 574220-EEP-1-2016-1-ESEPPKA-2-CBHE-JP.

This recognition was received by Byron Oviedo, director of Research at UTEQ, who after returning to Ecuador made the respective delivery of the recognition to Eduardo Diaz, rector of UTEQ.
