The Senescyt will grant scholarships for the UTEQ in the Master's programmes Local Development: Mention Planning, Development and Land Management or Mention Social and Solidarity Economy; Master's in Accounting and Auditing; Master's in Business Administration; Master's in Animal Production: Mention Sustainable Management of ruminants and monogastrics; Master's in Public Management; Master's in Data Science; and Master's in Research Trajectory in Automation and Industrial Control.

This call is aimed at Ecuadorians who wish to pursue master's studies in public higher education institutions in the country in 2022.

The requirements to apply are as follows:

• To be Ecuadorian in enjoyment of citizen participation rights.
• Not to have an academic degree at the same level of training (master's degree).
• Not to be starting or about to start another study programme at the same level (master's degree).
• Not to have been a beneficiary of a scholarship granted 100% by the State (except for continuing education).
• Not have any overdue obligations with public sector institutions.
• Other requirements established in the programme rules.

For those who are currently studying:

• Certificate of being studying in a master's degree programme, issued by the university.

For those who are about to begin studies:

• Letter of definitive acceptance, or conditional only on payment of tuition fees, to a master's degree programme.

Those who have started or are about to start a master's programme in 2022, master's studies that fall within the specific fields of knowledge detailed in the application guidelines, are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
