The rector, Eduardo Díaz Ocampo, and the director of scientific journals at UTEQ, Byron Oviedo Bayas, visited the facilities of the Colombian university where they were received by the academic vice-rector Oscar Arismendy Martínez.

Díaz commented that the purpose of the visit to the University of Córdoba is to exchange cooperation ties. "We have a historical relationship of inter-institutional collaboration and now with this new framework agreement we will continue with academic activities that favour both institutions of higher education," said the UTEQ rector.

The visit to neighbouring Colombia took place from 22 to 27 April 2022. During these days, Rector Díaz was also part of the Colombian Symposium on Education and Law, an event organised by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Namibia, where he received recognition as a foreign corresponding member of the corporation, by the National Patriotic Academy Antonio Nariño of Colombia.
