In a special act that counted with the presence of the main authorities of the UTEQ and the State Attorney General's Office.

These entities signed an Inter-institutional Cooperation Agreement that will benefit the university community and the citizens of Quevedo.

The signing of the agreement took place on 6 April 2017 in the auditorium of the Postgraduate Unit. The document was signed by Galo Chiriboga, Attorney General of the State, and Guadalupe Murillo, Deputy Rector of the university.

"This is a great example of the coordination between governmental and academic institutions, we seek to strengthen the links between the education and justice sectors in terms of the development of technical-scientific research and continuous training," explained Guadalupe Murillo. In his speech, Chiriboga said that the intention is that through this agreement, teachers who are interested in becoming specialists as experts in different areas such as: financial, environmental, scientific, masters, among others, can be identified. He also said that the Prosecutor's Office seeks to maintain the link with academia, as it currently has agreements with 17 universities. As part of this agreement, the Prosecutor General's Office is committed to providing training to the university community.
