EThe event took place on 14 January in one of the auditoriums of Business School.

The socialisation was aimed at professors and researchers interested in presenting basic and applied research projects for funding through competitive funds that the university has considered in the 2020 budget. The purpose of this call is to encourage research at UTEQ by promoting the consolidation and creation of interdisciplinary groups linked to the lines and sub-lines of research of the university.

The initiative seeks to promote the formation of research groups and network interaction, together with national and international institutions; in addition to promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge through the publication of research.

Byron Oviedo, Director of Research at UTEQ, addressed the professors present at the socialisation and encouraged them to participate in this Seventh Focicyt Call in order to achieve academic excellence.

UTEQ teachers-researchers were invited to participate with research projects in the Seventh Focicyt Call that aims to obtain important findings in the lines and sublines of research of the university.
