The Cantonal Agricultural Centre of Quevedo (CACQ) together with the Coordination of Commercial Networks of the MAG and the State Technical University of Quevedo, in the framework of the IV Agroecological Conference.
To celebrate World Food and Rural Women's Day this month, it will hold an Agro-ecological Farmers' Festival and Fair.
The event will include the inauguration of the CACQ's Commercial Passage, an infrastructure that will contribute to the ornamentation of the city and improve the connectivity of citizens with the Agro-biodiverse Fair that takes place every Saturday
This festival will be attended by authorities from CACQ, MAG, UTEQ, Colectivo Agroecológico del Ecuador and Ban Ecuador Agencia Quevedo; and will take place this Saturday, October 14th at the second location of CACQ, June Guzmán Av. and Marcos Quintana between Sexta and Séptima. The fair will run from 6h00 to 13h00, while the opening ceremony of the Pasaje Comercial will take place from 9h00 to 14h00.
Germán Jácome López, President of the CACQ, said that this programme will also be attended by different agricultural organisations and institutions, who will be part of the Feria Agro diversa la Campesina.
