A modern room for University Council sessions was inaugurated by the Quevedo State Technical University last Tuesday, October 17th.

In the presence of teachers, administrative staff and workers, the Rector of the UTEQ, Eduardo Díaz, handed over the new building that houses the meeting room of the University Council of the Alma Mater of Quevedo. This is where the members of the Higher Academic Collegiate Body will meet, which is made up of: the rector, vice-rectors, four representatives of the teaching staff, and representatives of workers, students and graduates of the Institution.

In addition, academic and administrative authorities will also be able to make use of this room to sign agreements, academic exchanges, and sign agreements with public and private sector institutions, among others.

Eduardo Díaz, said that UTEQ continues to improve its spaces for the Teaching-Learning process, and that they will continue to work for the benefit of the university community.

Díaz also indicated that from the third week of October, the process of integral remodelling of the General Auditorium "Ing. Carlos Cortázar" will begin, where it is intended to increase the capacity of the auditorium to 600 people.
