UTEQ signed an agreement with three Spanish universities

International links sign agreements with the University of Malaga, Seville and Granada.


With the aim of establishing international links, the rector of the UTEQ, Dr. Eduardo Díaz Ocampo, together with Dr. Byron Oviedo, director of Scientific Journals, and Eng. Jenny Maldonado, director of Cooperation, travelled to Spain to sign agreements with the Universities of Málaga, Seville and Granada.

The academic tour began with the University of Seville, where a framework cooperation agreement was signed by Dr. Miguel Castro Arroyo, Rector Magnificent of this university.

Continuing with the tour, the highest authority of the UTEQ signed an agreement with the University of Malaga through its rector José Narváez Bueno. Finally, the agreement with the University of Granada was signed by Dr. Pilar Aranda Ramírez, rector.

For his part, Dr. Díaz indicated that the signing of these agreements will allow collaborations for academic, cultural and scientific exchange in areas of common interest with these universities, i.e. training and exchange of teaching staff, research and technological development projects, postgraduate training: Master and Doctorate (PhD), course projects and postgraduate activities, studies on institutional management in areas of interest, editions and publications on topics of common interest, inter-institutional consultancies, internship-student programmes, exchange of documentation and information, formation of thematic networks and development projects for communities of influence with process/producer technology in which the Institutions have previous experience.
