The agreement was signed on 14 November in the University Council Chamber.

At the celebration of this agreement were the representatives of the cooperating entities, Eduardo Díaz Ocampo, rector of UTEQ, and Fernando García Santillán, executive director of Innovagro. The main objective of the agreement is to establish a framework for joint work on issues related to education, training and capacity building in good agricultural practices, sustainable agriculture and social responsibility.

Also present at the signing of the agreement were the vice-rectors of the institution, directors, teachers and students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, and representatives of the company Innovagro.

Eduardo Díaz, in his speech, predicted the greatest success in this new agreement and said he was committed to supporting this type of actions that make us achieve academic excellence every day.

For his part, Fernando García thanked UTEQ and its authorities for the trust placed in this company, and said that he was available to help or contribute with actions and negotiations that allow students and teachers to achieve a closer approach to the working environment in order to enhance their knowledge.
