US universities and UTEQ sign agreement

During a visit to Miami, Florida, for teacher training purposes, UTEQ authorities signed general agreements.


Specific agreement for academic exchange and collaboration; and specific agreement for the double degree of Master in Business Administration, with Humboldt International University (HIU), on April 16th..

The agreement was signed by Eduardo Díaz Ocampo, rector of UTEQ; Byron Oviedo Bayas, research director of UTEQ; José Vásquez, vice-president of HIU and Carlos Montes de Oca, rector of HIU.

This agreement aims to cooperate in various activities of both parties such as: Establishment of dual-tenure undergraduate and master's degree programmes; Establishment of dual-tenure programmes for teachers holding PhD, DBA degrees in different international universities; Establishment of international certifications in specific areas ( artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, languages, pedagogy, etc.).

On the other hand, UTEQ also signed a collaboration agreement with the Catholic University of New Spain (UCNE), represented

In this way, UTEQ continues to expand its partnerships, to continue on the path of academic excellence.

As part of the commitments at the University of New Spain, the UTEQ delegation received lectures on Entrepreneurship (Impact on natural resources) (philanthropy and social investment) and also talked about Technologies.
