Cesil Moreno, Manager of the Public Company of Production and Development of the UTEQ (Prodeuteq E.P.), presented the accountability report of the year 2017.


Before representatives of institutions and organisations of Quevedo and the region, media and social actors linked to this company.

The accountability exercise was held on 29 March 2018 in the auditorium of the Graduate Unit of the UTEQ.

Moreno spoke about the four programmes that Prodeuteq manages: the Escuteq Driving School, which began with the seventh promotion of drivers for type "C" license and also indicated that in 2017 three tricycles were acquired for student practices to obtain the "A1" license that will be issued in 2018.

On the other hand, the Professional Training Centre (Cecapro) achieved a high growth in terms of seminars, workshops and training in different areas of knowledge.

Meanwhile, in the Production of Goods and Services (Procombise), the wood workshop of the experimental farm La María was put into operation, in which, as initial work, 1,200 chairs and 600 tables were made and delivered to the UTEQ for the use of the students. Also within this programme, an agreement was reached for the production of two hundred and thirty-one thousand (231,000) cocoa plants that UTEQ will deliver to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG).

The Soluteq Mediation Centre is one of the programmes that is having a national recognition through the Mediator Training School, training in 2017 a total of 210 mediators in major cities such as: Ambato, Quito (two promotions), Guayaquil, Santo Domingo (second edition), said Moreno.

Moreno concluded, "The budget execution of the 2017 period began operations with a general budget of 1,257,015.65 which was executed at approximately 62%.
