The report was presented to the university community, representatives of public and private institutions and organisations with which UTEQ has agreements or alliances that allow it to carry out several of its projects.

In his speech, Díaz highlighted the achievements obtained in the last period in terms of the increase in scientific production, improvement of graduation rates, approval of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by the CES, construction of buildings for academic and administrative activities and laboratories that will substantially improve the processes that the university executes.

After the dissertation of the first university authority, the attendees were divided into groups according to the functions of teaching, research, outreach and management, where those attending the event made their contributions known through suggestions and recommendations that when taken into account by the university authorities will allow the Alma Mater Quevedo, to continue in this line of constant improvement and that has enabled it to become a reference university in the country.
