Special event held on 1 March at the UTEQ Sports Centre.

The event was attended by the authorities of the institution, teachers, students and media.

During the awards ceremony, medals and trophies were presented to the champions, vice-champions and third place winners of the Olympics, according to their category.

According to the results obtained, the following was the table of honour: in the women's category, the basketball champions were the students of Economics; vice-champions: Accounting; and Auditing; and third place, Business Management of the Distance Learning Unit.

While in indoor football, the champions were Accounting and Auditing; vice-champions: Agriculture and Livestock; and third place: Business Management.

On the other hand, in men's basketball, the champions were the students of Industrial Engineering; vice-champions: Mechanical Engineering; and third place: Accounting.

In indoor football, the champions were the students of Agricultural Engineering; vice-champions were the students of Ecotourism; and third place went to Mechanical Engineering.

In addition, awards were also given to the most outstanding players: Best Scorer: Mayra Jimenez (Economics); Best Scorer: Eddin Moreira (Marketing); Best Scorer: Diana Suarez (Accounting); and Best Scorer: Chininin Herrera Ronaldinho (Mechanics).
