PEDI 2021-2025, will be presented to the Higher Collegiate Body of the UTEQ who has the power to approve the final proposal.
After a process of collective construction in workshops, work meetings and the participation of the external community, in June the new Strategic Plan for Institutional Development will be published.
This planning instrument is fundamental to guide the university's actions in a planned way in the construction of the university that society demands.
Luis Plata, director of Planning and University Development at UTEQ, commented that the different substantive functions have contributed to strengthening the institution and placing it at the forefront of local, regional, national and international development.
'Based on the PEDI, the community and the different units will have to adapt their planning for optimal compliance with public policy on higher education,' said Plata.
