With the creation of new faculties and careers, the authorities of the UTEQ appointed new academic directors who received the minutes of their functions.


1.- Inés Bajaña, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
2.- Badie Cerezo, Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences.
3.- Nivaldo Vera, Dean of the Faculty of Social, Economic and Financial Sciences.
4.- Elsye Cobo, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social, Economic and Financial Sciences.
5.- Clemencia Coello, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Industrial and Production Sciences.
6.- Mariela Díaz, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.
7.- León Arguello, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences.
8.- Alexandra Barrera, Coordinator of the Zootechnics degree course.
9.- Pablo Parra, coordinator of the Basic Education degree course.
10.- Henry Aguilera, coordinator of the Industrial Safety degree course.
11.- Manuel Chong, coordinator of the Psychopedagogy degree course.
12.- Ana Moreno, coordinator of the Biology degree course.
13.- Cesar Bermeo, coordinator of the Agro-ecology degree course.
14.- Oscar Moncayo, coordinator of the degree course in Finance.
15.- Juan Urdánigo, Coordinator of the Environmental Engineering degree course.

The appointment ceremony took place on the morning of 14 October 2021, in the Carlos Cortaza auditorium. The new directors will take office from 3 November 2021.
