In an event marked by the beauty and intelligence of the 15 candidates, the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ) elected its new queen.
After a question that broke the tie between first and second place, Myrka Villarroel was awarded the crown of Queen of UTEQ, which was presented to her by Eduardo Díaz, rector of UTEQ, while the ribbon was girded on her by Guadalupe Murillo, academic vice-rector.
Meanwhile, the distinction of Vice Queen went to Lisbeth Rodríguez; Miss Culture, Dafne Mendoza; Miss Elegance, Melanie Palma; Miss Confraternity, Sara Luna, who was also elected as Virtual Queen; the ribbon of Miss Photogenic went to Carolina Nogales and Miss Friendship, Paola Muñoz.
The event also awarded prizes to Genesis Giler who presented the best Typical Costume and Lisbeth Rodriguez for the best Float.
In the opening The candidates wore a beautiful fuchsia dress with which the jury and all those present could appreciate the beauty of the girls, the decisive moment was when the girls came out in gala dress to answer the question of rigor.
The Ballet Danza en Movimiento school of UTEQ, DWhere They Are, My Land, CV7, Le Porthuaria and Arsenio were the artists who made up the musical repertoire that got the audience dancing on this glamorous night.
