The University of Quevedo has increased to 70% the financial aid for students with limited economic resources, a decision that was taken by the authorities of the UTEQ, because they are aware of the economic difficulties that UTEQ students and their families are going through, information revealed through a study carried out by the area of Social Work and Psychology of the University Welfare Unit of the UTEQ.

EThe number of beneficiaries for the current academic period 2021- 2022 is as follows:

• Limited economy: 1050 students, representing 70%.
• Academic excellence: 300 students, representing 20%..
• Covid 19 emergency: 75 students, representing 5%.
• Disability: 30 students, amounting to 2%.
• Ethnic Groups, Peoples or Nationalities: 15 students, 1%.
• Culture and Sport: 30 students, representing 2%.

From 1 August 2022, students will receive notifications through the Academic Management System (SGA), through which those who meet the established requirements can apply.

A condition for receiving this economic incentive is to keep up to date with tuition payments and to have updated information in the SGA.
