Portal web (http://revistas.uteq.edu.ec)with the update of its Open Journal System (OJS) 3.1.0 platform, which has been developed for a quick and efficient management of the entire editorial process of the journal.

In this new portal all the volumes published by the journal are available with their respective articles, together with the data of their authors, affiliations and ORCiD codes. In addition, Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) have been registered for each of the articles and complete issues of the journal, which were requested through the CrossRef registration agency.(https://www.crossref.org/).

With this update, the journal Ciencia y Tecnología informs the community of authors of the need to update the bibliographic citation information of their published articles. La plataforma permite obtener la cita en varios formatos: APA, IEEE, Chicago, Vancouver and others, as well as downloading it in BibTex and RIS format compatible with Endnote, Zotero and Mendeley software.

Among the new features of the new portal are: The submission of articles through the platform by authors, Assignment of multiple rounds of peer review, Integration of the historical catalogue of available reviewers, Audit of the entire arbitration process of the articles received, Download statistics, visit counter and geographical access control of visitors, Interoperability modules with CrossRef, DOAJ, PubMed, mEDRA and other platforms, for rapid indexing of the full content of articles in external search engines and databases (metadata in XML format).
