The inauguration ceremony was held at the UTEQ Sports Centre where authorities, university community and special guests were present. During the event, the election of Miss Sports dignity was held, which was awarded to Jenny Bravo, representative of the tenth semester parallel "P" and "Q". The best uniformed team was also chosen, the winner being the Second "S".

For convenience and because of the multiple disciplines of the Olympics, the sports competitions were held at the Agrilsa Municipal Complex.

At the end of the games, the students of Parallel "X" of the Bachelor's Degree in Management (LGE) were champions in the discipline of Men's Indor; while in Women's Indor the champions were the students of Engineering (IGE) parallel "R". In Athletics and Men's Swimming the title of champion went to the students of parallel GSE "S"; in Athletics and Women's Swimming the girls of parallel GSE "W" came first; in volleyball the winners were the students of LGE "A1" and GSE "P", and in Basketball the female winners were the students of LGE "Y".

Javier Zamora, coordinator of the races, thanked the authorities of UTEQ and UED for their support. He also congratulated the winners of these IV Olympiads for their effort and dedication in the 2018 games.
