At the event, the management report for the year 2021 - 2022 of its directors was presented.

The event was opened by the deputy dean, León Arguello, who thanked the coordinators, teachers, students, employees and workers for their contribution and commitment during the activities prior to the anniversary of the faculty.

For her part, Mariela Andrade, dean, in her management report mentioned the activities carried out in the substantive functions of the university. In the teaching function she mentioned: "Our teachers have always been interacting in all the new processes of virtual education, and in terms of academic tutoring, we have been very close to our students. In the first academic period 2021-2022 we had a total of 104 teachers, 58 tenured and 46 occasional; while in the second period we had 85 teachers, 50 tenured and 35 occasional. During this year, 602 degrees were awarded to new professionals in Financial Administration, Accounting and Auditing, Marketing and Economics.

In the outreach function, the FCE continues to be involved in very proactive projects in our area of influence; 729 students have participated in these processes and a total of 76 outreach agreements have been signed with institutions, companies and associations.

In the research processes we have grown significantly, we carried out the III Congress of Business Sciences with 35 national and foreign speakers, and an enrolment of 1161 students. We have also participated with 6 publications in world-class journals, 25 in regional journals and 14 books on business topics," said the dean.

Andrade also thanked the university authorities for their constant support to the Faculty of Business Sciences, its students and families who support this academy on a daily basis.
