The Faculty of Environmental Sciences through the Environmental Management career has planned an agenda of activities for the World Environment Week.


This initiative, which will run from 2 to 9 June, will be carried out in collaboration with the Environmental Department of the Gad de Quevedo.

The agenda starts on 2 June with the dissemination of the activities through the different media in the city. On 4 June, a 5k run for the environment will take place, while on 5 June, the city's "Concha Acústica" will be painted with the participation of painters and students from the university. On the same day, a group of students will also provide assistance to the neighbourhoods of Quevedo with environmental projects and the cleaning up of parks by painting them and planting ornamental plants. On the 6th of June, in an event that will take place in the "Concha Acústica" from 10h00, the best recycling costume will be chosen among students from various participating schools.

On 7 June, the environmental students have planned a bottle recycling competition in which local schools will participate.

To close the activities for the environmental week on 9 June, artistic presentations will take place at the university under the coordination of the University Welfare Department; at this event, special awards will be presented to those who participated in this initiative.
