Outstanding students received recognition for academic merit

More than 300 UTEQ students received recognition for academic merit, a formal event organised by the university authorities and the student leadership.
The ceremony took place in the main auditorium of the central campus of the UTEQ, and was attended by the highest university authorities, deans and, as a special guest, Jhonny Terán, prefect of the province of Los Ríos.
Rector Díaz commented that these students are part of a list of 1,500 students who will benefit from an economic aid of $400 for academic excellence.
