The thesis with which Arguello obtained his Ph.D. degree is entitled: "The strengthening of MSMEs as an instrument for the territorial economic development of Quevedo-Ecuador", and was directed by Dr. David Flores Ruiz and Dr. María de la O Barroso.

This research work aims to promote the growth of MIPYMES as an instrument for the promotion of local development, through the search for the main factors that influence their weakening.

The presentation took place on 14 September in the auditorium of the University of Huelva, where Doctor León Arguello gave an outstanding presentation and also obtained a Cum Laude mention.
