The election process to elect the new university representatives will be carried out by universal, direct and secret ballot with the aim of electing four main representatives of professors, one main representative of students and one representative of employees and workers, with their respective alternates to the University Council of the UTEQ.

The election will take place on 1 July 2022, at the central campus of the UTEQ, where the university community will be obliged to vote. Below is the schedule of electoral activities:

• June 3rd (8h00): Beginning of list registration.
• 16th of June (16h30): End of list registration.
• 16th June (17h00):Meeting of the Electoral Committee. Calificar listas y candidaturas
• 20 June: Notification of challenges, if any.
• 21st and 22nd June (16h30): Deadline for replying to and justifying challenges, rectifications or changes in the substitution of candidates. (48 hours).
• 23 June (17h00): Meeting of the Electoral Commission to qualify the reply to challenges or substitution of candidates.
• 24 June: Notification of the resolution of qualification and registration of lists and candidacies.
• 25th June: Beginning of the electoral campaign.
• 28th June: Closing of election campaign.
• 29th and 30th June: Electoral silence.
• 1 July: Elections from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
