More than 250 national and international attendees were present at the I Congress of Advanced Training in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedural Law.

Held on 3, 4 and 5 October 2018 at UTEQ.

This congress was the second stage of the advanced training course in law that began in July with twelve online modules and speakers from ten Latin American countries.

Quevedo, the University City as it was called by Dr. Eduardo Díaz, rector of UTEQ, welcomed more than 250 attendees, including local, national and international, who took away new knowledge on the subject of Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedural Law.

José Hernández travelled from Guayaquil, his place of residence, to attend this great event and expressed his satisfaction with what he learned during these three days. "I congratulate UTEQ for being the first university to organise this academic activity".

On the other hand, Johanna Pacheco from Cuenca, highlighted the high level of the national and international speakers.

Mirian Cadima from Cochabamba, Bolivia said: "One of the most important things about these events is the cultural exchange and learning about the constitutional reality that is lived in different nations".

This congress was also delivered virtually to some 200 participants who were connected through the institution's social networks.

The congress was under the logistics of the Public Company Prodeuteq, the Mediation Centre of the UTEQ (Soluteq) and Latin Iuris, with the support of the Attorney General's Office and the Constitutional Court of Ecuador.

Eduardo Díaz expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in the University and said that they will continue to support events such as these.
