CIDU 2021 started with 4500 participants

With more than 4,500 participants, UTEQ's Research Department started the Third International Congress on University Development CIDU 2021 on 8 December in virtual mode.


At the opening of the event, Carlos Zambrano, Director of Research at UTEQ, thanked the attendees for their interest and enthusiasm in broadening their knowledge through this congress. "In the CIDU 2021 there are 48 conferences with topics of importance in the new modality of work that we are living nowadays", said Zambrano during his welcoming speech of the congress.

For his part, Eduardo Díaz Ocampo, rector of the UTEQ, said he was satisfied with the high level of positive response to the invitations to researchers for the event. "We continue to generate science and knowledge, we want to contribute to our society by working with a lot of innovation and creativity," said the rector.

Five symposia are being held at this congress: Faculty of Business Sciences, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Education and Faculty of Industry and Production Sciences. Renowned speakers from Spain, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, the United States, India, France, the Philippines, Ecuador and other countries are taking part in the keynote lectures at CIDU 2021.
