UTEQ students and teachers participated in the UTEQ Open House 2018, held in honour of the 34th anniversary of our alma mater, an event that took place on 31 January.
More than 40 projects were exhibited at the fair, including electronic products, food, entrepreneurship, agricultural, mechanical, recycling, tourism projects, networking projects, among others.
Tilapia breeding, web page creation, vegetable growing and pest analysis were some of the many topics that UTEQ students presented during the open house that started at 9h00 and ended at 13h00.
The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the public company of the UTEQ "Prodeuteq" who also presented their products and services they provide to the community in general.
Eduardo Díaz, rector, indicated that in these activities the students demonstrate what they have learnt and promote their projects. "The students have a very broad participation in each of the activities they carry out. This is the result of the combined academic efforts of all of us at UTEQ," said Díaz.
