To celebrate the International Day of Non-Violence against Women.

Seven stands were presented at this event, six representing each of the faculties or academic units of the institution, and one representing the National Police.

Each stand had a different theme such as: Femicide, Sexual Harassment, Psychological Harassment, Workplace Harassment, Code and Laws that support Ecuadorian women, among others.

Selena Vinueza, president of AFU, said that this activity has the support of the university authorities. "I invite university women not to be silent, to raise their voices, not to allow this kind of events in our lives. Women have the protection of the law, of the university, and we are willing to work against the mistreatment of women so that in this way they feel protected," concluded Vinueza.
