In a welcoming ceremony held on 19 November at the Faculty of Business Sciences, the authorities expressed their best wishes for the success of this degree course, which has been in force since this semester.

The nursing degree at UTEQ started some years ago in the blended mode, but due to the high demand of students who required it, the authorities decided to offer it in the on-site mode. This specialisation in the field of health has generated great expectations among students because it is a career that offers great opportunities to serve the population in prevention and health care, both in the public and private sectors.

Eduardo Díaz, rector of UTEQ, spoke to the students and encouraged them to strive for their goals, to finish their degree and to put all their efforts into it so that the list of academic offers in the area of health at UTEQ will continue to grow.
