In order to promote sport and health care in the UTEQ community, the University Welfare Unit has been developing programmes for physical activities.
Among the most popular activities is dance therapy, which takes place from Monday to Friday from 18h00 to 19h00 in the sports centre of the institution. Here are some of the many benefits that are obtained by practicing dance therapy: · You lose up to a thousand calories per class. You tone your arms, abdomen, buttocks and legs. · Increases endurance, lung capacity and cardiovascular activity · Expresses your emotions · Relieves stress · Increases energy and develops motor skills · Improves confidence and self-esteem. The gym's opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.
