The Cuban academics presented to the authorities and professors of the UTEQ their doctoral offer in this area, explaining the potential and conditions of the postgraduate programme. The socialisation of the PhD in Accounting and Finance was held in the meeting room of the University Council, where the rector of the university, Eduardo Díaz, explained that one of the policies of his administration is to support the teachers of the institution so that they can be trained at the highest level in universities in the country and abroad.

In the meetings that the rector of the UTEQ, Eduardo Díaz, has held with the teachers of the faculties, he indicated that he is consolidating a number of approximately 15 professors to be included in Doctorate programmes in Economics and Finance at the University of Havana, Cuba.
