In total, 66,116 young people freely and voluntarily accepted the allocated place to study at a higher education institution in the degree programme of their choice during the two application and four allocation phases. The remaining 11,359 places will be made available to applicants in an additional application process.

Applicants who have not reached a place will receive an email so that they can log into their Ser bachiller account and review the available offer. From 8 to 10 September, they will be able to log in to the Ser bachiller website and apply for a career option.

It is important to note that your application implies the acceptance of the place in case of being assigned; that is, there will not be a next phase to accept or reject the place.

By 12 September you will be able to check in your accounts whether you have received a place and, if so, start the enrolment process at the respective institution.

Among the most popular university courses are Business Administration, Accounting and Auditing, Civil Engineering, Nursing, Industrial Engineering and Economics.

As for institutes, the careers that have been most accepted are Higher Technology in Software Development, Accounting, Automotive Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, Electricity, among others.

Quotas available

Of the 11,350 places available, 5,646 belong to 30 public universities, 362 to 20 private universities (corresponding to quota policy) and 5,342 to 84 public institutes.

The courses with available places in universities are Tourism, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Software, Pedagogy, Logistics and Transport, Agroindustry, Marketing, Zootechnics, among others.

In institutes, there are places available in Accounting, Software Development, Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, Automotive Mechanics, Fashion Design, Food Processing, among others.

Those who, after the additional application process, do not obtain a place to access higher education, will have the option of entering the general leveling that will be carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, in order to support young people who wish to prepare to take the next exam.
